mikumoon: chokobo: Because Pokemon shouldn’t force you to pick a gender you may not associate with.  Oh, just STOP WITH THIS. Do you know how complicated it would be if the game designers had to account for all of the different identity options and every single person’s beliefs or lifestyles? What would the character even look like? Would you have to design your own? What if you wear a hijab? What if you’re in a wheelchair? What if you’re black? There are 1000000 factors where people aren’t properly represented in ANY game. Wanna know why? When you’re playing, it doesn’t have to represent YOU directly. I’ve played as a male and female multiple times. It’s roleplaying. The character doesn’t physically resemble MOST of the people who play. Grow the fuck up, or go to school for game development and make a difference instead of whining on Tumblr and demonizing fucking Pokemon.
